Installing the honeywall Roo on a virtual machine and a real machine me and a colleague got the same error
when choosing the interface, I get an error,
Basically when you do ifconfig the interfaces are up, however the menu cannot see them
will update of any findings
Using the hwctl tool i worked just fine except that snort inline failed to start due to truncated last line
in the rules files that fixed, snort started with no problem
all is working fine now
i think i missed

the best way is editing honeywall.conf with vi
and then using hwctl -R -f /etc/honeywall.conf
